Established the company's first comprehensive Information Security Management System (ISMS).

• Led a self-initiated quarterly disaster recovery and business continuity testing program (RDS failover, snapshot restore, point-in-time recovery) since 2021, evolving it into a facilitated, adversary-injected exercise for the wider team.
• Passed an ISO 27001 surveillance audit covering 806 controls, alongside continuous SOC 2 monitoring.
• Built company-wide employee engagement programs, including peer-recognition tooling, a professional development budget, and structured rhythms (weekly cross-timezone meetings, open office hours, in-person HQ visits) for a globally distributed team.

Co-founded Rosterfy and scaled the platform to a $100M+ valuation with $15M+ in VC funding. Orchestrated the technical evolution from a local startup to a global enterprise solution supporting millions of users.

• Architected high-availability systems for the world's largest events (FIFA, Super Bowl).
• Led the transition from monolithic architecture to a global GitOps-driven microservices environment.
• Acted as a technical advisor for global NGO clients, designing bespoke solutions for complex organizational structures.
• Unified identity across 6 independently-evolved regional data centers into a single global identity layer, resolving duplicate customer records and giving every user one identity worldwide.
• Built the engineering department from founder to a 14-person organization spanning DevOps, architecture, QA, and UX, hiring specialists deliberately stronger than himself in their domains.

Operated in a support role for new and existing customers. Working within an SLA I helped design and implement, I have worked with many customers across governments, non-profits, sporting federations, event management companies and city departments.

• Designed multi-tenant, cloud-agnostic infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Integrated 60+ global systems including payment gateways, background checks, and IDP solutions.
• Optimized platform performance to 99.99% SLA through advanced observability (OpenTelemetry) and automated load testing.
• Replaced manual console operations with Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS SAM, GitHub Actions), standardizing deployments across dev/UAT/staging/production and embedding best-practice tracing and alerting into every new service.
• Reduced compute costs via Graviton/ARM64 migration, RDS Serverless adoption, and EKS resource-utilization tuning.
• Replaced bespoke, one-off vendor integrations with a self-service model (webhooks, SNS, Azure Service Bus) so customers and partners could build their own connections.
• Built a cross-vendor business intelligence platform (AWS QuickSight/SPICE) unifying product, CRM, and vendor data for company-wide reporting via IAM Identity Center SSO.
